UV PROTECTION FOR YOUR SPORTS MOMENT

Sun protection is not only important during summer holidays on the beach, but also plays a crucial role in everyday life, especially when playing sport. Whether jogging in the park, on the football pitch or during a tennis match, the sun's UV rays can cause lasting damage to our skin.

NEW PARTNERSHIP

To raise awareness of the importance of sun protection, V.SUN has been an official partner of the German Athletics Association (DLV) since June 2024. Together, we are committed to ensuring that UV protection becomes a matter of course in every sporting activity.

Mareike Matz, Managing Director of V.SUN GmbH, emphasises: "With its pleasantly light texture, V.SUN is the ideal all-day companion - even during sport. Unfortunately, the application of sun protection is still often neglected. We are very pleased to be working with the DLV to raise public awareness of skin protection."

UV PROTECTION WITH RESPONSIBILITY

To kick off the new partnership, V.SUN was allowed to accompany the German Championships, from 28 to 30 June 2024, live in Braunschweig. A free apply cream station including product samples was available to visitors throughout the event. V.SUN was also the sponsor of the award ceremony for the women's 4×100m race. It was a special pleasure for the entire V.SUN team to personally congratulate the winners and present them with gifts from the brand.

V.SUN at the DLV training camp

Sport under the Stellenbosch sun. We had the great opportunity to accompany the DLV training camp in Stellenbosch, South Africa. This is where the DLV athletes prepared for the 2025 indoor season. The South African sun provided the perfect backdrop to showcase both the athletes and the V.SUN products in the best possible light. It was a special experience to be able to accompany such inspiring people in their passion. We were able to get up close to the action, gather exciting impressions and received consistently positive feedback on our sun protection. We also had the chance to get to know two outstanding athletes, Lisa Mayer and Julian Weber, better. We are delighted to share this content with you here.
