Coral conservation projects

In a project close to our hearts, dedicated to protecting the oceans, V.SUN supports the non-profit initiative coralive.org , which is dedicated to restoring coral reef and coastal ecosystems. Supporting various ecological and social projects each year is firmly anchored in the company's philosophy. Since its founding in 2020, V.SUN has therefore provided financial support for social projects every year.

Sustainable sun care

The numbers speak for themselves: Up to 14,000 tons of sunscreen end up in the ocean every year, researchers have calculated, with around 5,000 tons of that ending up on coral reefs. Sustainable tourism is in demand, and this also requires environmentally friendly sun protection.

It is firmly anchored in our corporate philosophy that we commit to supporting various ecological and social projects every year. V.SUN is committed to the restoration of coral reefs and coastal ecosystems. Since the brand's founding in 2020, V.SUN has implemented various coral reef reforestation projects in collaboration with the non-profit organization coralive.org, including in the Maldives, Indonesia, and Madagascar.

Together with the environmental organization CleanHub, V.SUN has been working on offsetting plastic consumption since 2022. For every kilogram of V.SUN plastic, plastic is collected and recycled worldwide to reduce environmental impact.
