RESPONSIBLE SUN PROTECTION

At V.SUN, we rely on concrete measures rather than empty promises. This includes conscientiously developed sun protection formulas, production in Germany, independent testing of selected formulas on coral, and the continuous support of selected marine conservation projects.

Projects for MARINE CONSERVATION

In a passion project to protect marine ecosystems, V.SUN supports the non-profit initiative coralive.org, which is committed to the global restoration of coral reef and coastal ecosystems. This partnership is an integral part of our commitment. Therefore, we support coralive.org long-term with selected projects and accompany their work beyond individual measures, including in the Maldives, Indonesia, and Madagascar.

Since the founding of V.SUN, we have supported coralive.org with more than 100,000 euros.

CAREFULLY DEVELOPED FORMULATIONS

Sunscreen accompanies us to the sea, the pool, and the beach – and can also enter the environment when we go swimming. For us, this is a reason to take a closer look right from the product development stage. That is why we consciously avoid oxybenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene in our sun protection formulations.

V.SUN x Cleanhub

Together with the environmental organization CleanHub, we are contributing to the collection of plastic waste in regions with inadequate waste infrastructure. By financially supporting the collection and recycling of plastic waste, we are promoting projects that help reduce the risk of plastic waste entering the environment uncontrollably, and thus also reaching rivers and oceans.
